Currently I run my own company Integround and my dayjob consist mainly on consulting in enterprice integration projects. I try to keep myself updated on the latest technologies even though my strongest skills are within managing people and projects. I think it is much easier to be part of the project management if you have technical skillset as a backup. In this blog I try to go beyond the boundaries of my dayjob and that way keep improving my skillset further.
I have always been interested in doing things more efficiently and automating tedious routines. This is an area of interest that never runs out of new possibilities. Lately I have been trying to master the ways of remote working as I mainly work from my home office (or from my summer cottage). Even though I don’t follow GTD or any other rigid system in my daily task management, I certainly like systematic way of managing my daily routines and I’m always on a lookout for new ideas.
As a pet project I have planned to start building my own home automation system on top of Raspberry Pi and Windows 10 IoT.
